Walla Walla Grace United Methodist Church supports Katherine Parker, a missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church. She is part of the Health Team of the United Mission to Nepal. Her focus is on water sanitation and hygiene. She helps with food security and developing cooperative projects such as cow, pig, chicken and duck raising. She also helps set up rice co-ops which are like banks, helps develop vegetable farming and various small business projects through savings and credit groups. Operation Christmas Child
Members of the congregation at Grace United Methodist Church donated items for Operation Christmas Child throughout the year. The children of Grace UMC recently packed 55 shoe boxes to be mailed through Operation Christmas Child.
